Heya! I am Nayansi. I enjoy designing products and I am curious about people. I can talk for hours around any absurd imaginary idea to discuss it's potential for fun. Let's chat!

In my arsenal

Stuff I have learnt and carry it with pride.

001

UI UX Design

Design Strategy

Product Thinking

Visual Identity

I design interfaces that help people decide, not just interact. Every screen earns its place by reducing confusion or effort. If it doesnt make the product clearer, it doesnt ship.

[About Me]

The process Behind the Displays

The process Behind the Displays

The best compliment I received, "Oh! That was so beautifully obvious". Good design is invisible.

1. Untangle the mess

"Startups don’t hand you clear briefs. They hand you urgency, opinions, and half-formed ideas."

I spend time untangling symptoms from root problems, user pain, business pressure, tech constraints before touching Figma.
If we solve the wrong problem beautifully, we still fail.

My first output is rarely a screen; it’s shared clarity. Once the team agrees on what we’re solving and why, design moves fast.

2. Design the smallest meaningful win

"Start small. Earn the right to scale."

What’s the least we can ship that meaningfully improves a decision, flow, or outcome?
Users, business, brand and tech don’t always agree. I design where they intersect.
Constraints aren’t blockers; they’re boundaries that keep the work honest.

3. Ship → learn → tighten the loop

"Design, for me, is a continuous loop, not a handoff"

I watch where users hesitate, where support tickets spike, where teams struggle to explain the product.

I use real behavior to refine flows, simplify decisions, and remove friction.
What survives usage gets strengthened.
What doesn’t, gets cut without attachment.

I'm a multidisciplinary designer based in Bangalore, India. I focuses on clarity in complex systems. I’ve worked on products where decisions need to scale across users, teams, and long Jira tickets, not just fast launches and demos.

I focus on design strategy, product interfaces, and visual systems blending clarity, structure, and creative direction to build work that feels both functional and expressive.

Outside of design, I explore photography and digital illustrations, which continues to inform how I think about meanings of words, emotions, and visual analogies & rhythm.

For enquiries, collaboration requests or job opportunities, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
